Hello friends, we just got back from the Solar Eclipse trip of a lifetime! That was the most beautiful awakening experience we have had as a family! We didn’t realize that the next full eclipse in USA wouldn’t for another 20 years! (whaaaaatttt?!) So, we come back to our reality, and it gets even clearer why we have to do what we have to do in this Substack space.
Beginnings are hard, but they don’t have to be
I met my husband Rob in Bali when I moved from Java and started working in the hospitality. As I write this I realize my true life as an awakening adult began. Even though Malang in Java is magical too, I felt a void in my heart, a missing purpose I had been searching for for quite sometime. It was love, pure love, no label, no additional ingredient.
Finding this love, needs work..
Some may think it’s hard work in the mental space, but it was worth every minute that it took me this far. I have created an army of support to get me through.
Bali made my life complete, and it’s where everything began for me personally, and us as a community. I believe that when a conscious decision is made, paired with conscious personnel, your life is going to catapult into a quantum leap!
Time will vary in speed and things will happen at pace that matches the frequency of the moment.
When this journey started, I felt that some parts of it wasn’t easy. However I have bonded with a few sisterhoods & more communities as I am stepping into the bigger worlds. It’s getting lighter and clearer where I’m heading.
Now, it’s my time to extract this lifetime of experience into your life. Let’s get you ready for what is coming. Ready? Jump!
1. How often will I write to you?
You can expect me write to you between 3-4 times a week, with bite-sized information at a time, or sometimes an in depth guide of certain aspects of Bali and its people. In the upcoming future, I am working on podcasts with people who live in Bali, both natives and expats, to learn from them and how we could live with conscious mindset and keep Bali in harmony.
FREE subscribers, I plan to share lots of information with you under various topics such as:
family-friendly neighborhoods
cost of living for things at different places
healthcare and alternative medicines essentials
cultural immersions
public and private transportation guides
work-life balance
community integration
In the near future, I would open up the paid subscription for information that carries sensitive and pressing issues, non-commercial information, and some podcasts would be in it too. The topics such as:
safety and security regarding immigration, including laws for expats conducting activities on Bali
humanitarian news
hidden and sacred spots for spiritual seekers, not using spiritualism as tourism
non-commercial cultural experiences
spiritual experiences by local priest and priestess regardless of any religion
grassroots initiatives
special stories featuring native Balinese
VIP and private luxury treatments
2. Why Bali and its energy vortex?
One aspect that contributes to Bali's allure is its association with energy vortexes and celestial alignments, drawing seekers of metaphysical experiences from around the world.
Energy vortexes are believed to be locations where the Earth's energy is heightened, creating a conducive environment for meditation, healing, and spiritual awakening. These vortexes are often associated with natural landmarks such as mountains, waterfalls, or ancient sites, where the Earth's electromagnetic field is said to intersect and amplify energy flow.
Well, I never knew what Bali was. I wrote this now because that’s what spiritual people say about Bali. However, the thing that stands out for me, were not just the nature (because my Java is amazing too), it was the people. Balinese keep their traditions to honor their ancestors and the earth they live in. They have the utmost respect for the environment and also the collective consciousness to continuously live in harmony.
I wouldn’t be blinded by the fact that Bali conditions are not always perfect, surrounded by heavy commercialism and greedy developments. That would be a conversation for another day, with you, how we could improve Bali and live side by side peacefully with nature and its people, both natives and newcomers.
3. Will you be part of this community?
You are not just starting an email list to somebody when you subscribe to my Substack, you are starting to participate in a community and economy.
I am inviting you to be part of this process, what do you want to learn about living in Bali that you couldn’t find on the internet?
Shall the conversation not be limited about Bali? What kind of space will this mean for you?
For me, inviting those who just started on a spiritual journey and move (as or with family) to Bali and inspired by Bali.
It could be finding you your soulmate; working with your lover to start a family; starting a new business with Bali in mind; or how to live in harmony on Bali and onwards.

What’s next?
I have 2 option for you:
If you have had magical experiences in Bali, I would like to know your story. Let’s chat and if you like, we could feature your story and let your stories be heard.
If you are still on the brink of making that huge leap to visit or move to Bali, make this decision to subscribe on my list. I will help you find that reason, trust me on this, we got you.

This is a noce invitation to explore Bali. Unfortunately, Bali as pictured in the media has been losing its dignity as a sacred and exotic place. That's at least what I have been feeling these days. With many foreign tourists breaking the laws and even performing nasty acts at sacred places, I feel Bali local authority has to take more stringent measures to tackle the problems. If you want to write something about this condition, I believe it would garner more public attention.
