A Call to Engage and Share
What you can do to grow this new paradigm community
Hello my fellow Bali fans,
I've decided to write more articles in a humorous style in the upcoming releases, because, let's face it, the serious approach just isn't my thing.
I've been around serious people, serious parents, and serious family members, and I've come to the conclusion that writing a blog, newsletter, or social media posts should be fun without sacrificing quality information.
Videos are everywhere, and I don’t want to contribute to the endless scroll-a-thon. Instead, I want to spark curious conversations by sharing what’s rattling around in my brain.
I've been idle for far too long, like a Wi-Fi signal stuck at one bar. It does no justice when I see the strength of my community tackling life’s curveballs and business hurdles, especially on an island hit hard by the world economy’s reset (a.k.a. lockdown and travel restrictions).
Bali needs a real community where people can diversify their income streams (because one stream is never enough), export their amazing crafts (think of it as sending souvenirs with benefits), engage in expertise exchange programs (because knowledge is best when shared), and brainstorm creative ideas to build thriving future communities that respect the island’s integrity and sacredness.
Bali isn’t the same as it was in the '70s. The island is divided; some people want to take what they can, leaving nature crying in a corner and replacing it with concrete jungles.
Does Bali really need more concrete? Where do we draw the line and say, "enough is enough"?
Let's make sure Bali’s future isn’t paved over with cement. We need creativity, not concrete mixers!
